Anxiety
Your anxiety can be triggered by many things. Take for instance living in the path of a hurricane and the one thing you can rely on is FEMA. They're there to help and do what they can to support those during a disaster. NOW, imagine the feeling of hearing about a Senator who voted against supplementing disaster relief in a government funding extension which was passed by both houses of Congress. I voted against the provision of additional necessary funding to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) represent states that were hit particularly hard by Hurricane Helene to include TN, FL, GA, SC and NC. I am your anxiety.
Children
When asked about the horror of mass shootings in schools, my response was "We need to protect the 2nd amendment. Gun control and controlling mental illness is the answer" I feel as though we're missing the real problem and that's those pesky doors. How about we put a sign that says "CLOSED" at the front of the school which should be enough to detour anyone who can easily get into a place to gun down children? OH, also, I think armed law enforcement will totally help! I continue to ignore the pleas of parents who have lost children to gun violence. I put guns and money first! You can always have another child!
Women
I'm a woman so it's obvious I know what's best. God put me on this earth to vote against equal pay for women and the Violence Against Women Act TWICE. Also, you in danger of losing your life during pregnancy? Is the baby not going to make it? Not my problem. That baby basically belongs to me and the government, so, take a chance, MAMA! LOL! But seriously, women's health care is overrated.
The Gays
I'm FOR a taxpayer-funded agency’s right to discriminate against same-sex couples seeking to foster a child. I opposed the Violence Against Women Act specifically because it included LGBTQ provisions. I said “liberals are child predators” which is a frequent trope of QAnon, the racist, pro-Trump and wildly false conspiracy theory that has been deployed against the gays. The gays shouldn't have the same rights and should be punished because God told me so and I believe it!
The NRA
My response to the Nashville mass shooting was letting you all know that I was "ready to assist."

I received $1,306,130 in donations from the NRA. I am one of their many golden children. If I was so ‘ready to assist’ -- I could start by doing my job and passing commonsense gun laws that will help prevent tragedies, however, that would mean no support or money from The NRA #sadface.
Avoiding Confrontation
I haven't held a town hall in over seven years and only appear in friendly venues, excluding the public from attending. It’s clear that I avoid debates because many voters in Tennessee tend to support candidates solely based on party affiliation. This lack of accountability allows me to maintain the illusion that I'm serving my constituents without facing any challenges. Anyway, go fuck yourselves, Tennessee!
